Starting 2017 the Kosovo Architecture Foundation is presented with a new Visual Identity for the Foundation itself the Festival, Architecture Weeks as well as its research labs.

Përshkrimi i punëve:

Praktikantët do janë të angazhuar në terren dhe zyre, duke bërë identifikimin e gjendjës egzistuese në hapësirat publike të qytetit duke bërë, matje, analiza, anketime, vizatime, përpunime grafike si dhe përpilime të dokumentacioneve të tjera përcjellëse grafike dhe të shkruara. 

Kushtet për aplikim:

Të jetë student i arkitekturës apo planifikimit urban, të ketë njohuri të mira të programeve draftuese sikurse: ArchiCad dhe AutoCad, si dhe atyre edituese: Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Ilustrator, Rhino, etj.  Kandidati preferohet të jetë i posa diplomuar apo të jetë duke e punuar punimin e diplomës dhe të ketë njohuri të mira rreth problematikave urbane të qytetit të Fushë Kosovës.

Të interesuarit për aplikim duhet të dërgojnë CV-në (së bashku me kontaktet)  në një fletë A4 (pdf format) si dhe 3-4 faqe të punimeve të tyre që përfaqësojnë më së miri aftësitë e tyre, në emailin info@prishtinaarchitectureweek.com deri më datën 20 dhjetor 2015.

CALL FOR IDEAS

Architecture is prone to envisioning compelling futures. Throughout history it has harnessed innovation and demonstrated how culture, a creative mindset and cross-disciplinarity all work to contribute to shaping and defining cities, the economy, social cohesion and environments. Opening up a broad discussion, 14 European organisations have joined forces to create a platform that is looking for visions from individuals and collectives to rethink the future of architecture in Europe.

The Future Architecture Platform is launching an open call for ideas. In order to communicate the social, environmental, economic and design potentials of architecture to the widest possible audiences across Europe, we are looking for aspiring individuals from various disciplines to present and apply new ideas both on architecture today and what we should expect in the near future. The call is open not only to architects but also to urban planners, curators, landscape architects, designers, artists, filmmakers and any other emerging professionals who think, explore, engage and shape our living environment.

The platform builds on the social mission of European architecture as a fundamental cultural force that has the potential to improve our quality of life. Join us to rethink and envision architecture as a human-centred activity, one that has the transformative potential to address and solve problems that extend far beyond building.

The call for ideas will close on 20 December 2015.

By 20 January 2016 platform institution members and the general public will select applicants on the basis of their ideas from various creative disciplines. These will help build new and engaging visions and nurture relationships between architecture and, in this case, the Future Architecture platform’s network of museums and festivals. The selected applicants will be invited to participate at the Future Architecture kick-off conference on 18–20 February 2016 at MAO (Museum of Architecture and Design), Ljubljana, when they will be invited to pitch their idea, present their vision for a future architecture. From the pitch of ideas, we will select a limited number of participants to become a part of the Future Architecture programme of exhibitions, conferences, lectures and workshops that will run between 1 March and 31 October 2016 across Europe.

The platform will cover the travel (inside the EU) and accommodation costs of the selected participants for the kick-off conference. Platform members will cover travel (inside the EU) and accommodation costs, and provide an honorarium for those makers and creators who are selected to participate in the platform programme.

Who can apply?

You can apply, if:

·      you are under 40 years of age as of the first day of the open call

·      you can document professional achievements (works, commissions, exhibitions, publications, reviews, grants, awards)

·      your last work is not older than 2 years old your work has not been widely recognised or established by critics, curators or producers (we are looking for emerging, upcoming talents that have not yet enjoyed wider recognition in Europe).

WHAT IS FUTURE ARCHITECTURE?

Future Architecture is the first pan-European platform for architecture museums, festivals and producers, bringing ideas on the future of cities and architecture closer to the wider public.

Our goals:

·      Think Future. We will highlight the emerging generation of talents in various disciplines and explore and share their ideas about the future of cities and architecture.

·      Exchange. 14 organisers from 13 countries will create a pan-European programme, visit emerging creators and present their ideas at exhibitions, conferences, lectures and workshops, in books and on the web.

·      Raise awareness. The platform will make complex issues of architecture comprehensible to everyone, and promote a more sustainable living environment.

·      Build commitment. A Future Architecture European Quality label will recognize organisers who work with aspiring emerging talents and show their commitment to the platform objectives.

The Future Architecture platform wants to introduce and celebrate innovation, experimentation and the ideas of a generation that will design the architecture and build Europe’s cities in the years to come. It will promote European innovation, architecture, culture, knowledge and social capital through a single common platform.
