The Office for Urban Regeneration work at the Municipality of Prishtina

During the Prishtina Architecture Week 2014, the Kosovo Architecture Foundation held a joint workshop together with the NY DCP and their senior urban designer Ms. Skye Duncan. The interesting work that came out of the workshops and the case study conducted by the OUD+Architects gave rise to the creation of the first Office for Urban Regeneration at the Municipality of Prishtina.

The Regeneration Office which functions on pro bono bases saw the contribution of more than 40 students and 4 professional architects. The more interesting projects that the OUR initiated and is actively working on are the: Physical and aesthetic treatment of existing streets in Prishtina; the mapping and detailed design of their surrounding for the physically impaired and the mapping of buildings with unique importance in the city of Prishtina.
